Following the Knothole Island DLC from January, the See the Future content will be released in may for 560MS (why 560? no clue).
With this DLC you will be able to lift a curse on three items bought through Murgo the Trader and once these are freed the player will be able to have a vision of Albion’s future for those of the Heroic bloodline.
The content will also feature new characters, new monsters and new quests. Some of which includes The Ghosts of the Snowglobe and The Cursed Knight. Another feature will be the Colosseum were you will be able to compete to gain new goodies.
In addition Lionhead said that new items and emotes will be available for free for those you do not wish to buy the full DLC.
I already talked about Good Old Games a few months back (see here). It is a very noble endeavor by Polish CDProjekt to propose old games for $5-10 that are entirely compatible with XP and Vista and DRM-free.
That being said they just released two old school point ‘n’ click for download, entirely for free!
These two games are Beneath a Steel Sky and the infamous Lure of the Temptress, both developed by Revolution Software.
In order to enjoy these classics just head over to Good Old Games (see the link on my sidebar) and download the games.
Here is the post from the official website.
“LucasArts and BioWare today announced that the first video documentary for Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ will be posted on the game’s official website on Friday, December 12. The video gives an overview of the upcoming story-driven massively multiplayer online PC game set in the timeframe of the Star Wars™: Knights of the Old Republic™ franchise and provides the public with its first look at in-game footage“
Be sure to check it out tomorrow.
While you won’t play as Niko Bellic he will make some cameo appearances throughout the add-on. Dan Houser, said that he didn’t want to give the plot away but that Johnny is a very different person and character than Niko and that players will see Liberty City in a very different light.
Meanwhile the screenshots remind me a lot of the FX show Sons of Anarchy (I just watched the last episode which was great by the way) and this can certainly allow for some lovely language and action scenes.
Sam Houser also mentioned that there will be two episodes and that “We hope fans of the game enjoy the new way of experiencing life in Liberty City contained in this first episode.”
So far no price has been given but it’ll be interesting to compare sales of the add-on to those of Street Fighter IV which comes out the same day.
Blizzard has always been an amazing company delivering quality title after quality title. Not even mentioning the great series like Diablo, WarCraft and StarCraft, games like The Lost Vikings and Blackthorne were great games in their own rights as well.
But then four years ago things changed, World of WarCraft came out and took the world by storm, I know, I barely slept for two weeks. The game now claims more than 11 million players! When The Burning Crusade came out it sold 2.4M copies on day one! And it’s happened again, The Wrath of the Lich King, which came out last week, sold 2.8M copies on its first day making it the top-selling PC title of 2008….in 24 hours.
Moral of the story? What is happening? “Succeeding you…father”!
