American McGee’s Alice Sequel Confirmed!
Nine years! Nine long years I’ve been waiting for this! After playing Alice back in 2000 I was hooked completely by it’s ambiance and amazing voice-acting and I had been on the fence for the next American McGee project…. Very late indeed!
Sadly after being so excited about Oz (ooh how great that would have been, I can’t imagine what they would have come up with for the Scarecrow and “if only i had a heart“), the project got canceled. Then a bit out of the blue came Grimm which, after the excitement of the first minutes prove really lackluster. And now…at last!
I have two theories as to why this happened now. The first is that EA is planning to bank on the release of Tim Burton’s remake of Alice (which has the potential to be just as weird) and release the game around the same time as the movie. The second is more of a feeling than a fact, when Dead Space was released last year it reminded me of that late year 2000 when EA released Alice but also Clive Barker’s Undying, a lovely scary FPS with a great ambiance, within a few month of each other.
It made for a grittier and edgier EA more in tune with independent projects.
I can’t wait for more details and I hope that Chris Vrenna and Roger Jackson are back on the project. Please?..pretty please?

P.S: Did I mention I have all the action-figures from the game?

I heard of the first game a while after it came out, I’m very upset that I still do not have it… Hopefully I will obtain it soon, so I an have it in time for the second one to come out… I’m really looking forward to them. =^.^=
You should. It’s really one of my all time favorite games, at the time and looking back. And the soundtrack is amazing as well.
